Organic Spring Wedding at the Seaport Boston Hotel

In celebration of #weddingwednesday we are featuring the lovely spring wedding of Betsy & Mike. They chose the beautiful Seaport Hotel in Boston for their ceremony and reception. The waterfront views from the Lighthouse Ballroom was the perfect setting for the Bride's organic and natural vision for the day. Fresh white florals centerpieces with hints of succulents, lush greenery and pops of navy blue from Orly Khon Floral brought the decor to a whole new level.

The ceremony branches and garland gave this wedding a nice spring warm touch in the Wintergarden Atrium space. From the Hora and Cake Cutting with a vintage sword -- to fun with a Polaroid camera for the guest book, guests had so much fun at this wedding!!

Congratulations Betsy and Mike—here's to many years of happiness and love!

Lifting the Limits for PKU 2016

We were so excited to be a part of the National PKU Alliance “Lifting The Limits for PKU” event at Fairmont Copley Plaza. It was a powerful evening that focused on fundraising towards research for PKU.

PKU is a rare inherited metabolic disorder that is characterized by the inability to utilize the essential amino acid, phenylalanine (PHE). Amino acids, consumed from the food we eat, are necessary to thrive as the building blocks for body proteins. When left untreated, people with PKU who consume too much PHE are at risk for severe neurological complications, including IQ and memory loss, concentration problems, mood disorders, early developmental delays and intellectual disabilities. Despite ground breaking research that has led to the hope of new therapies and treatments for this disease, the NPKUA’s work is far from over until a cure is found. “Lifting The Limits for PKU” was a tremendous success that helps take NPKUA research one step closer to finding a cure.

The gala in Boston featured an exciting silent and live auction with Auctioneer Keith McLane and Emcee Scott Pelley, not to mention a special performance from Jordan Knight, lead singer of New Kids on the Block, who sang a rendition of Billy Joel’s “She’s Got a Way” for one lucky lady who held the highest winning bid for the chance to be serenaded by Jordan Knight.

Thanks to everyone who attended and supported such a great organization #LTLforPKU

Marilyn and Jim’sWedding Weekend at MigisLodge

After waiting two years for the perfect location, Marilyn and Jim held their ceremony on the shoreline of Sebago Lake on a beautiful sunny day in June. The weekend festivities began at Migis Lodge where guests were treated to a lobster bake Friday evening while being serenaded by Brad Hooper and Rusty.

After a hearty breakfast guests were free to kayak, paddle board, attend a yoga class, or explore the vast forest around them to return in the evening to watch the wonderful couple say their “I do’s”. The newlyweds exited in style, hopping on a boat with their specialty cocktails, a blueberry lemonade vodka while guests made their way to a tasty reception.

Guests picked up their lemon leaf escort cards and headed into the Main Lodge where Fleur de Lis’ coral flower arrangements added a perfect pop of color and Stardust played for the newlywed’s first dance. After a delicious dinner guests danced the night away, stepping outside to cool off under the stars.

A huge thank you to all of our vendors who helped make this wedding a success!
